Remedial Therapeutic Massage: If you are suffering from muscle tension or pain, a therapeutic massage may help. Upon reviewing your form, the therapist will assess your condition and may perform tests to determine the cause of your pain and which muscles are affected. The treatment will be customized to reduce pain, discomfort, and movement restrictions while enhancing overall well-being. Techniques used may include remedial massage, trigger point therapy, acupressure, and deep tissue release, along with essential oils for additional benefits.

Neuromuscular Massage: This form of deep massage targets individual muscles to release trigger points-intense knots of muscle tension that refer pain to other areas of the body. It also helps increase blood flow and is often used for pain relief. Trigger point massage and myotherapy are similar techniques.

Relaxation Massage: A gentle, flowing technique that incorporates stroking movements, kneading, and acupressure, all performed at your preferred pressure. Designed to ease muscle tension and calm the mind.

Aromatherapy: Utilizes the benefits of essential oils to aid in recovery, restoration, and overall well-being. My preferred brand is doTERRA Essential Oils, and I also use select products from Butlers Essentials. I strive to maintain awareness of natural products with proven therapeutic benefits.

Deep Tissue Massage: Deep tissue massage is used to release chronic patterns of muscular tension through slow strokes, direct pressure, and friction applied across the grain of the muscles. It involves greater pressure and targets deeper layers of muscle compared to Swedish massage, making it highly effective for addressing chronic muscular tension.

Sports Massage: Sports massage incorporates techniques similar to Swedish and deep tissue massage but is specifically adapted to address the effects of athletic performance on the body. It is designed to meet the unique needs of athletes, aiding in training, performance, and recovery from injury.

Acupressure: Acupressure involves applying finger or thumb pressure to specific points along the acupuncture meridians-channels of energy flow identified in traditional Asian medicine. This technique helps release blocked energy that may cause physical discomfort and works to restore balance to the body's energy flow.

AromaTouch Technique: The AromaTouch Technique was developed to address four key systemic factors: stress, toxic exposure, inflammatory response, and autonomic imbalance. Recognizing that these factors contribute to many health issues, this technique is designed to help manage them and restore the body to a balanced state.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD): A specialized massage technique performed by a trained therapist. It uses gentle pressure and slow, repetitive hand movements to encourage the movement of lymph fluid through the lymphatic vessels and nodes.

MLD is commonly used to treat lymphedema, edema during pregnancy, and swelling following surgery or injury. It is known to help reduce inflammation, promote scar healing, support wound recovery, alleviate chronic pain, aid in detoxification, and enhance immune function.

MLD is a powerful therapy that supports the body's natural lymphatic processes and helps regulate the nervous system.
